Gitzo G1325 Mk2 3-Section Carbon Fibre Tripod. The Gitzo G1325 Mk2 is the predecessor of the Systematic Series 3 range of tripods, being very similar in proportions and capabilities to the GT3533LS. The absence of the refinements that were developed for the later Systematic models does not significantly detract from its superb quality and performance.
It is a wonderfully robust tripod, and is as solid as a rock. The removable top plate has the same dimensions as the Series 2-3-4 Systematic top plate, so this tripod is also compatible with any of the Systematic accessories that would fit current models centre column, levelling base, half-ball adapter, etc. This makes it a perfect entry point for anyone wishing to upgrade to Gitzo and wanting to expand their kit in future, but without necessarily breaking the bank.
I have checked the tripod carefully and can find no significant damage. It has clearly been very well looked after, as the photos hopefully convey. Everything is taut and it all works perfectly.
I have cleaned it thoroughly and given it an all-over protective silicone polish. The feet (which are not the screw-in types on this model) are in very good condition.
