Used Manfrotto 055CXPro3 Carbon Fibre Tripod. I bought this as a non working item from WEX safe in the knowledge that a full nuts and bolts stripdown, component clean, dry lube and reassembly would see it back to full working order (sand inside the legs causing them not to slide was the issue). And so here it is. Fully working, all locks functioning perfectly, slide actions smooth and precise. Versatile tripod in that it is compact but also full height extended, lightweight but stiff in action, can be used with the camera underslung by inverting the centre column or used with the centre column locked horizontally.
