VERY NICE Really Right Stuff Carbon Fiber VERSA TVC-33 with Level base with Quick release AND Series 3 center column (Quick Column). PLUS I have added the more expensive series 5 Gitzo feet to streamline the stance. This is a custom build with lots of versatility. Our Versa Series Quick-Columns give you the option of variable height adjustments without having to adjust your tripod legs.

When installed, the quick-column replaces the platform on your tripod and provides up to 12.5 of vertical travel. All Versa Series 3 Tripods accept the TA-3-QC. When traveling, consider removing the quick-column and leaving it at home, keeping your RRS support package as light and compact as possible. All Versa accessories are easily removed using a 1/8 hex key (included with tripod).

The TVC-33 is our standard-height Versa Series 3 tripod. Weighing only 4.3 pounds yet capable of supporting 50 pounds. Our 3 Series Tripods are ideal for wildlife photography and telephoto lenses up to 800mm. The level base with Quick release is from the versa series 2 accessories, I believe they are no longer available. The Quick release plate version (WHICH THIS IS) was the most expensive leveling base in the series 2 line.
