3 Legged Thing Albert Equinox Pro Tripod with 360 AirHed Kit & Bag. Please read carefully, this tripod was supplied to me for free. It was used for review, but it has not been used as far as taking it outside / in a studio. Consequently, I've listed it as "opened - never used". There are some minor scratches on the mounting plate. There's minor amounts of dust too. There's some little holes in the little bag that goes over the head (not the main bag that carries everything). I'm including the tripod, airhed, box, a carrying bag, a bag for the head, and allen keys.

The tripod itself is a huge upgrade to previous models from 3LT. The legs are stronger, open / close smoother, and haven't came loose when opening / closing them. The head is significantly better made from what I can tell than their earlier models, and I was informed different steps have been made during manufacturing (perhaps a different company manufactures them, I'm not 100% sure).

The company itself responds fast and is helpful. In terms of functionality, something that never gets mentioned is how tall it can go with the legs not occupying much space. I can see this as incredibly useful as a potential light stand for certain photographers. The centre column can be removed, which I recommend where possible as this greatly improves the stability and weight.

That applies to all tripods made by all manufacturers but especially this model as it has many sections to the centre column. I consider it the jack of all trades as it can go tall but not occupy much space, the camera can be reversed, one of the legs acts as a monopod, it doesn't weigh much, spikes can be added (at an additional cost), etc. The item "3 Legged Thing Albert Equinox Pro Tripod with 360 AirHed Kit & Bag" is in sale since Saturday, July 31, 2021.
