FLM CP38 L4 II Tripod The CP38-L4 II is the 4-section version of the FLM 38mm top section carbon fibre tripod design. It has a substantial maximum height which will cope with nearly any situation- and is capable of supporting 50kg- but still weighs under 2.3kg. The platform can be removed to enable any 100mm bowl adapter such as the HB-100 levelling base to be attached. Less bulky when folded- compared to similar size tripods with a centre column or'system type' flat platform. 3 leg angles can be quickly set with the patented angle locking system. Just push out the lock- lift the leg and bring down to the required position and the lock will snap into place. The lowest setting allows near floor-level operation. 100mm bowl is compatible with other makes- and takes the optional HB-100 levelling base. Base of platform has a connection point for the included weight hook. Head can be locked in place with 3 nylon topped hex bolts under the platform. Leg sections do not rotate- and can be quickly unlocked by grasping all the locks together. Rubber feet can be replaced by the supplied stainless steel spikes. Bubble level incorporated in the spider. 3 x 1/4 sockets for accessory arms etc. FLM tripods are designed in Germany and manufactured in China by FLM China (Beijing).
