Fotopro E6L Eagle Series 5-section Carbon Fibre Tripod with E-6H Gimbal Head

  
The tripod has five section, carbon fibre legs with twist grip adjustment. There is no metal in the twist adjusters so there is nothing to go rusty! The legs have three settings with the lowest being at ground level.

It has a built in levelling base and a sprung hook under the levelling base from which to hang/attach a bag or something in windy conditions. The gimbal head has a detachable'L' bracket so it can then be used like a Wimberley Sidekick rather than a full on gimbal. It has a panning handle which can be fixed in either side of the gimble'L' bracket for video work. It also goes far enough to allow you to photograph vertically up or down.

The two knobs which tighten the camara mounting bracket and the bracket to attach the'L' bracket, both have a safety button which prevents them being loosened far enough to allow the camera or'L' bracket to fall off. The legs have fixed spiked feet which are covered with push on rubber feet, a spare set of which are included, along with a longish lens plate, instruction booklet, allen keys and the panning handle whick all fit in the padded travel/storage case which has a shoulder strap.

This is the smaller and lighter end of the tripods in the series. The lowest height is 3.85", 98mm, the fully eaxtended height is 50.39", 1280mm, the folded length of the tripod is 17.1, 450 mm. The maximum leg diameter is 1.1, 28mm. It will take a maximum weight of 33.06lbs, 15kgs. The whole kit in the bag weighs 3.5kgs. The included instruction leaflet explains how everything works but the best way to understand how this all works is to go on Youtube and watch some of the videos on there. I can recommend videos by Emilie Talpin and Lisa Langell among others.

Fotopro have their own as well. The only reason I have decided to sell this is because of ill health. Things are getting worse with a couple of operations coming up in the next twelve months and my intention to get out into the hills to do more wildlife photography has been scuppered.
