Gitzo G-1227 MK2 Mountaineer Carbon Fiber tripod legs, includes original center post, along with a Markins TB-20 tripod base. I don't prefer center posts, which is why I opted to use the Markins base.

Please see my other auctions if you're interested in a Markins Q series ball head with a really right stuff knob clamp. Things of note: Legs are in a good shape, they extend as they should, etc.

However, two of the legs has come loose and unglued from the upper leg insert (metal portion that the carbon legs slide into). I've thought about glueing it myself and have reached out to gitzo, but with little response.

It does not prevent me from using the legs, however it is less than optimal. Certainly it will reflect in the price you pay for these.

Overall, still great tripod legs. I'm mostly in video production these days, and this style tripod does not work well for me anymore.
