GITZO GT5542LS 6X, 4-section Systematic Carbon Fibre Tripod, as new unused condition, no original box, serial number G0513019, a box will be supplied. I've had two predecessors to this product and it is beautifully engineered. I prefer this to the later models. I will have many other items to list.

GITZO's top-of-the-range Systematic tripods are modular, they come with a flat center disk that can be interchanged for center columns, levelling bases and other components. They have leg angle settings but no column as standard, Systematic tripods are all capable of near-ground level shooting. Leg tubes are in 6Xcarbon fiber with Gitzo's efficient G-locks. The GT5542LS is a Gitzo Series 5tripod designed for strength and torsional rigidity under extreme loads of up to 40kg (88lb) and with lenses up to 800mm.

With its 4-section legs fully extended, it reaches eye level even without using a center column, yet it remains compact when folded. G-Lock is the new Gitzo leg locking system. The locking mechanism has been completely redesigned in order to achieve an increase in rigidity, faster operation and stronger, safer locking.

G-Lock's special design also provides a'gravity lock' effect: the higher the load applied vertically to the leg, the stronger the lock.
