Vanguard 3GO 235CB Carbon Travel Tripod with Monopod Leg
Vanguard 3GO 235CB Carbon Travel Tripod with Monopod Leg. The tripod is in perfect condition except for very few scuffs. Other than that it's perfect and is fully operational. You will see on the photo that it has a hook - (actually it is covered with gaffer tape so it is not that clear). Weight (such as sand bags etc) can be attached to this hook in order to provide ballast to increase the tripod's stability in windy weather. You will also notice that there is a small hole. Initially I thought the hole was there to house the hook but it did not align so I bent the hook so that it would. However, after I had done this I contacted Vanguard to suggest that it was a design fault.
They in turn communicated with the manufacturers who confirmed that hole was there for engineering purposes and not to house the hook. The tape that has been put on the hook is purely to stop it rattling in transit. This does not effect the operation of the tripod nor the stability facility. The operation is fantastic as each leg can be adjusted to different angles.
